[Solved] Fix Camtasia Studio Bug – It is either an unsupported media type or required codecs are not found

Hello everybody, welcome to Learn Tech Tips Blog, Today I will share with you how to fix Camtasia Studio (from Techsmith) Bug. –  “It is either an unsupported media type or required codecs are not found”

As you know Camtasia Studio is a famous software for record, rendering video. If you a youtuber or streamer need to edit video I think this software you will be know it.

When you using Camtasia Studio, sometime you will get above bug “It is either an unsupported media type or required codecs are not found”. That is because your video record on another device don’t include video codecs so your Camtasia Studio will not working when open that video.

As this time, you can solve it with below way,

One is you can use Camtasia Studio record and so you can easy open it

But if you cannot using Camtasia Studio record because some of reason, this video is from your friend, or this video record by phone, by another device … so you NEED convert this video with normal CODECS first for Camtasia Studio can import it.
